The K's

Who are these crazy people?

Lets start from the beginning.

Boy and Girl grow up in two different states- he in Tennessee and me in PA.

We met in college, first day of freshman year at Duquesne University.

We started out as friends (even though he couldn't remember my name once we took off the mandatory name tags..ahem.)  Then one night when he was doing my physics homework (Don't tell my students I cheated, but they all know how bad I am with math so it probably wouldn't shock them!) he kissed me.  After that, we were inseparable.

We moved in together in 2007 and bought the house we currently live in and are working our way through renovating in 2009.

Putting up our Christmas tree in 2009 Patrick had ulterior motives and an accomplice:

He asked me to marry him with the help of the cutest blond boy I knew.  I had no idea it was coming, and Gavin stole the show- it was the most perfect proposal I could have asked for.

2010 was a big year for me.  I graduated with my Masters in Education, landed a full time teaching job in Western PA, and we got married.

On October 30, 2010 the boy with the most beautiful blue eyes and adorable ears was waiting for me at the end of the aisle in the church I grew up in.  He said yes, and so did I; and that was it he was stuck with me for-ev-er.

We wanted to wait to add to our family...the non human children had just become legitimate after all,   but God had other plans. We found out we were expecting in January in a rather funny way.  Lets just say it involved a phone call I answered in front of my students in which I said "You've got someone elses blood lady! Otherwise we have a MAJOR problem here!"

She didn't. Our little guy was set to arrive September 20th, three days after hubby's birthday.

Yes I was huge. My kids told me daily.

Well the bean was like his Mama, always late, and Grayson Michael finally arrived via c-section on September 23rd.  He needed to be forcibly removed, this kid wasn't budging.

So that's us in a nutshell.  Come along with us as we live this crazy life of ours.

XOXO, Bethany
